Barber-Collins opened their doors for the first time on May 1st, 1980 with eight employees. Paul Collins and Don Barber started their company with a vision to be loyal and committed to their employees and customers. They wanted to develop a professional and respected image throughout the Tri-City area.
In 1999, nineteen years since the first day of operation, Don Barber retired. The staff had grown from eight employees to two hundred. After Barber’s retirement, Paul Collins re-evaluated the company’s direction and aimed to grow and expand while still maintaining close relationships with clients and employees.
Now, with a management team of five, over eighty supervisors and a front line staff of over five hundred, Barber-Collins can proudly say there was not one year that has passed without growth. Looking to the future, we plan to continue growing and developing partnerships with our employees and our clients.
